We have spent between three and five months exploring the world every year since the winter of 1999-2000. The winter of 2007-8 brought new dimensions to our travelling. We now visit our daughter and her family in Paris at the beginning and end of our trip and we have added several side trips in France. During 2007 and 2008 we added a month of volunteer activities while travelling in the Philippines and Thailand.
This past year has been busy as usual. We visited Wales and Turkey in the fall, Cuba and the Yucatan in the winter and France and Spain this spring.
